Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Syslok when you use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Syslok platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Syslok provides ephemeral, zero-footprint remote desktop access. The Service includes a web dashboard, desktop Controller and Agent applications, mobile apps, and relay infrastructure. Features vary by plan tier.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at security@syslok.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. You may not:
- Access devices without the owner's explicit authorization
- Use the Service to distribute malware, ransomware, or conduct cyberattacks
- Attempt to bypass plan limits, rate limits, or security controls
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the applications
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written agreement
5. Plan Tiers & Billing
The Service offers Free, Starter, Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans. Paid plans are billed monthly and renew automatically. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not apply to the current billing period.
6. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Remote sessions use end-to-end encryption. We do not access or monitor session content unless required by law or to investigate abuse reports.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, designs, and documentation, is owned by Syslok, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you transmit through the Service.
8. Availability & SLA
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service on Free, Starter, or Pro plans. Enterprise plans include an SLA with defined uptime commitments and remedies. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Syslok shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Syslok, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy retention schedule.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
